The most valuable thing we shipped this week wasn’t a feature. It was a change in perspective. While rebuilding our onboarding flow, we realized we’d been designing for the users in our heads — not the people actually using our product. Five customer conversations changed that. We stopped asking, “How do we make this flow better?” and started asking, “What are people trying to do in the first place?” The result: a simpler experience, a clearer direction, and a team that’s listening a little more closely. A reminder for anyone building something: Sometimes the fastest way forward is to pause and ask a better question. What’s one customer conversation that changed the way you work?
